    SMAW weld vertical down

    I assume you are talking about welding sheet metal. In almost all other applications SMAW is welded vertical up to ensure maximum penetration.

    Frequency of Pedestal Overturning Moment Tests per CISCA

    I am currently on a project where one of our responsibilities is to test the pedestals for raised access floors in a large office building. I can't find a standard for frequency of quality assurance testing. Can anyone help me with this?
