Using AWS D1.1. to weld A105 weldneck flanges to A106 reducer
We would like to weld a reducer to a weldneck flange with a full penetration weld in a V groove. The reducer is A106 which is included in the AWS D1.1 table of pre-qualified base metals but the weldneck flange is A105 and is NOT in the table of pre-qualified base metals.
