    Hi, I am getting a "Failed to add sketch for a hole" error and a "Failed to add a hole" error when applying a bolted connection through an existing hole. Both parts are welded assemblies. Can anyone suggest what the most likely cause is? Inventor 2010

    Unfortunetly autodedesk does not let you pattern a bolted connection. I can pattern a point and then use the bolted pattern on the points but most of my bolt placements don't follow pattern.
