i was told this was possible but after i install oracle and go to the second part to install it says data server is not running or something similar to that

PRO-E is very functional and much more powerful than Inventor...exept, it cannot draw polygons!
you can draw any shape you want but until wildfire 3 there was no automatic way of doing it
pro-e is a bigger stickler on creating parent child relations

i have a mapkey that launches windows explorer to what ever my working directory is (maybe build off this)??
is the only way to add new places to the search pro is to manually add them by opening the search.pro or is there an icon i am supposed to click when saving or ??????????
