    Hyperelasticity + Viscoelasticity

I've tried some compression tests with a single Hex element and that's the resolut: http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/6562/creepn.gif I think that probably it's alright but the creeping has been seriously linearized (I don't know - maybe it's due to the plot scale etc). I've evaluated both...

    Hyperelasticity + Viscoelasticity

Thanks for reply. I'll try this. I thought that I must have test data in order to use the "evaluate" option. there might be something wrong with those hyperelestic constans as D is relatively high, which means that the Poissons ratio should be close to zero (and I get a warning message that the...

    Hyperelasticity + Viscoelasticity

I intend to use a model where the instantanous response is nonlinear elastic (hyperelastic - Neo Hooke potential) and is followed with a viscoleastic response (linear model - Prony series). It doesn't calculate a single increment and I get information about "negative eigenvalues" and heavily...

Error when calculating a hyperelastic model

Thanks for reply. The problem is solved. This is my first time with hyperelasticity and a just enetered wron costant values (in the table the unit wasn't mentioned). I figured that the unit is MPa and now it completes the analysis.

Error when calculating a hyperelastic model

I still get an error that the system matrix has negative eigenvalues. It doesn't calculate even a single increment. I've read thet this error message usually means that I should improve the mesh. But I quite don't know what would need an inmprovement in my case. I use Hex, structured mesh...

    Skin reinforcement

Hello, I'm doing an analisis of a feature that has small stiffness inside and big stiffness on the surface (and close to it). I've decided to define a skin on the feature's surface and then assign a proper section to that skin (with a higher stiffness). The shell section that I have created is...
