The motor mounts directly to a piece which houses my input shaft, making the alignment based on the geometry of the three motor mount holes to the input shaft bearing hole.
The "generous tolerances" I speak of will be a combination of concentricity as well as angularity for the shaft...
I have a direct drive motor application and am getting alot of vibration from the misalignment of the output shaft.
This is for a high volume production product so I won't be using any precision components. The system needs to be robust enough to handle some generous tolerances.
