    @krugtech I changed bios settings to default but it doesn't solve the problem. Still got the same message: "..Insert boot diskette in A..." The motherboard is MiTAC MSC-242 BIOS R.109 @Maito Cosmos Thanks for information.

    Thanks for help. I will try to check it on thursday because now we have holidays in Poland. Unfortunately the hard drive wasn't replaced by me (and I can't be 100% sure) but the guy who did it told me that he did not make any changes in bios settings.
