Hello forum, I am required to provide a target value for flow of 500 gpm. How much will be the tolerance over and above the 500 gpm flow? 5% or 10%? How do i determine that ? or will the pump manufacturer indicate that ? Is there a formula or document to determine the flow tolerance? thanks,

Have a query wrt Wedgewire element dP calculations. The calcs mention Screen K factor. Does any one have any information to share wrt to the K factor.? Where does this factor originate from? Can you forward such document to me.?

Thanks for the response... I am aware of the application aspect, however, I am referring to the design aspect of filter head and filter bowl. The query is thus, How should the filter bowl and the filter head be designed to ? Proof Pressure ,Fatigue Pressure, or Burst Pressure ?
