Problems with integer and real values.

Thanks for the help guys, but the problem is still there. I did change regional settings so it´s all "." in excel and catia. Still for some reason, CATIA treats it is an integer if there are no decimals. There are a couple of ways around it like using .00001 so it´s all real values, or using...

Problems with integer and real values.

I checked the setting, it is right. The problem is when CATIA import a value such as 200,000 it presumes it is an integer for some reasons. 200,001 and it´s a real value etc.

Problems with integer and real values.

I have a problem while importing parameters from excel to catia. Some values are something like 200.000 and catia treats it like an integer. When I change that in excel to 200.1 in excel, Catia can't update that value because it has become a Real Value, instead of an Integer and the "type has...

    Catia V5 R19 not compatible with R20

Hi! I made some parts and products in Catia V5 R20 at home, but in school we have R19, and I can't open them. Do you know if there is a way to make this possible, or convert the files somehow? I really do not want to do the parts all over again :)

    Trimming Tubes

Oh that looks nice loki, don't know if there is a similar thing in CATIA. Can you do for multiple tubes as well? Like 5 tubes welded into the same node?

    Trimming Tubes

Thanks for the help, it was very helpful. That was a quick way to make that plane also, very nice. I was though afraid I had to make all these sketches and planes for every tube. It's so much faster to just sweep around line with a certain radius but then it might be tricky to get the right...

    Trimming Tubes

Hey guys. I'm CADing a space frame for a car and I am having trouble finding a good solution for trimming\extending the tubes to they meet in a nice way where I have nodes or 90degrees corners without radiuses. Would you suggest I use sweep, pad, rib, ... or what? I am working from a wireframe...
