I continued searching the internet, and I discoved that what I want is called a "decal," and I need PhotoWorks to do it, apparently. I don't have PhotoWorks, my site license for SolidWorks doesn't include it. I usual only make each part out of a single, homogeneous material. Is there any way...- lymph

How do I apply an image to the surface of a part?
If I have a 3D part, and an image file (like a PNG or JPEG), how do I paste the image onto the surface of the part? Can I do that with SolidWorks? I have made the part in SolidWorks, and I have to essentially "wallpaper" an image onto it. If this is possible, how will I deal with the fact that...- lymph
