Hello. I opened up an assembly this morning, and all of the file names in the assembly navigator have <file name> around them. This is seemingly a new one for me. Load options are As Saved, and Fully Loaded. UGNX2306. Thanks in advance.
Hey everyone. UGNX 1953, I recently have had an issue with a journal file, that exports a BOM Partslist to a TXT file. We then import that TXT file into Excel for your procurement folks. Weve been running this for about 5 years and all of the sudden I am getting errors on executing this...
Hello, I'm currently using NX1953 and just recently I am noticing a sorting problem using partslists or bill of materials. I have my defaults set so that the Assembly navigator sorts Alphnumerically by the part name, its been this setting for years. Normally when I make a drafting view, I...
In the Studio Spline dialog box, about mid way down, are three options for Movement, I selected View, and the spline stayed with the view. WCS was the default selection.
Morning. OK so here is a new one that 1953 has given me. When we export a drawing sheet as a PDF we name it exactly the same as the UG file name. Our part number convention is "0000.12345.10.prt" We have a series number, a numerical drawing number, and a two digit machine shop code. There...
Hello,
We recently just upgraded from 1899 to 1953. In the 1953 Drafting environment, I am trying to create a break out view using the active sketch view command. Typically I like to use a spline to create a shape around the part I'd like to break out as its usually one entity to select and i...
One thing to note.....we do all our drafting sheets in Monochrome. I did change colors for giggles to black, and all the lines appeared to be "bold" When I changed the color to pale gray, they seemed to be thin after printing to PDF.
Cowski, Not necessarily all the drawings, but recently I'd say more than 80% of them. All new drawings created from this particular template, anything older than the template not necessarily.
Hello. I have a template file that has a lineweight setting that is giving me a hard time. When I print a drawing I get one of the extension lines on all linear dimensions shows as a thicker lineweight than the rest of the dimension. I have tried to edit the dimensions lineweights by right...
Cowski,
Thank you, I found it probably the same time you replied.[smile]
Kenja824,
After I changed the setting, I promptly saved my user role. Today after opening a fresh session of UG, its still set to FIT.
Good Morning. Recently I have had an issue with UGNX 1899. Prior to this issue, when I hit CTRL F, the modelling view would fit the model to the field of view, no matter if it was a small part, or a large assembly. The same would happen with the HOME and END keys, I would get a zoomed to fit...
Morning Everyone! I was able to figure this out. Turning off "Delay Evaluation" in the customer defaults. So now when I place a dimension, and type in the value I want, the sketch geometry snaps to where I want it.
I hope this helps anyone having this issue.
