    Converting nut torque to bolt shank tension

    How do I go about converting the torque applied to a nut into a tensile reaction in a fixed bolt. For example what tensile load will be applied to an expansion anchor fixed into concrete if a given torque is specified to adequately fix the anchor. Thanks in advance
