    nonlinear harmonic analysis with ANSYS 14.5

    hi, Are you trying to do a harmonic response analysis? If so, i copy from the Help menu: A Harmonic Analysis is a linear analysis. Some nonlinearities, such as plasticity will be ignored, even if they are defined. Source: help/wb_sim/ds_harmonic_analysis_type.html /Live

    Hi George, Did you create the Named selection before or after solving the model? I think you have to add it before you solve for your first-suggested approach to work. (If you add a Named Selection after solving, I don't think the Component is made available for post-processing ) /Live
