4-Foot Hollow Steel Bar, Wrapped in Fine Wire, Do What With?
I remember wrapping something in (copper?) wire a couple of times when I was a kid . . . maybe that was to make a radio frequency controller, or static energy collector....I don't know....tx for info that it's definitely not magnet related. ~j- lionx

4-Foot Hollow Steel Bar, Wrapped in Fine Wire, Do What With?
I have a hollow 4-foot steel bar (inside diameter .824"), which I'll be carrying on long nature hikes. I like science thought experiments, and got to wondering what could be tested or done by wrapping the bar with fine wire? Direction sensing? Battery charging?- lionx
