    Conversion of ppmv's from real to STP

    Thanks for your help, In fact, I am dealing with biogas. I am extracting about 5000 Nm3/h and my contaminant is hydrogen sulfide (H2S). I get a value of around 1300ppm (I am assuming that it is in volumetric terms because my company assumes so). So if I understand well, this value can be...

    Conversion of ppmv's from real to STP

    Hello, Can anyone please help me? I need to convert the ppmv value that I measure at an extraction point of gas at a given temperature and pressure to Standard Temperature and Pressure. I thougt it was an easy operation but I found myself in quite a trouble. I'll apreciate any help. thank you...

    NaOCl + NaOH for biogas treatment

    Thanks, So, I have so far three reactions to purify biogas: - H2S + 4NaClO + 2NaOH --> Na2SO4 + 4NaCl + 2H2O - H2S + NaClO --> NaCl + H2O + S - 2NaOH + CO2 --> Na2CO3 + H2O is this correct? how can I find the proportion of each one? (I found that the second one is only 1% of the whole reaction)

    NaOCl + NaOH for biogas treatment

    Hello, Could anyone help me establish the real chemical reaction in a biogas treatment facility to remove H2S? Biogas composition is 50% CH4 and 40% CO2 and can have up to 1300 ppm of H2S. It is now treated as I told before, with NaOH and NaClO. I have so far that: H2S + 4NaOCl + 2NaOH -->...
