I am trying to analyse an image in Matlab and need to be able to see the left edge of the image. At the moment I add a 1 pixel border to the image (or just to the left side) in a photo program like Gimp. This is time consuming so I'm looking for a way to get Matlab to add the border for me.

Circular cross section, solid, and made of stainless steel, with a length 1161.2mm.
It's supporting a bowl of liquid that will be filled up and then emptied a dozen times a day.
I've calculated the deflection of a 25mm shaft to be 2.2mm. Is this too much or is it acceptable?

Solid Edge automatically makes everything fixed constraints, and the floating button is the one I press when I accidentally press the wrong one!

I have built a frame that is triangular in shape and I now want to attach some sheet metal to the top of the triangle. A shaft goes through the frame and sheet metal to house a gearbox, but I need the bottom of the gearbox to be flat (ie parallel to the flat base of the triangle)
