ABAQUS jobs not running when submitted, input file saves as .ccx instead of .inp
I obtain this file simply by running the job. These are the files that are created as I attempt to run the job (image attached). I don't know why this problem occurs and why my jobs get aborted. The error message that pops up is: The job input file "Job-1.inp" has been submitted for analysis...- kwrob

Hello, I recently downloaded Abaqus 2021, along with other softwares like Gmsh and CalculiX for comparison purposes. I am trying to run a simple job in Abaqus and it does not run at all - it gets aborted. I see that in my work directory the file that should be getting saved as .inp actually gets...- kwrob
