Hello Dave,
You have to locally install and register your NX versions (also takes local language settings).
Then you can copy the CAD adapters from the folder WGM_Install\wgm\CAD_ADAPTERSThey are named according to the NX version, we have Windchill V11 CPS15 and it only supports NX up to NX12...
Hello Dave,
we have all major cad systems integrated in Windchill.
And you have to install the workgroup manager (WGM) on all clients to integrate NX (and Catia).
Creo has the WGM integrated so you don’t need to install it separately.
You can copy the CAD adapters so the users don’t have to...

Hello,
we work with Catia, Creo and NX.
We can create list attributes in Creo and NX (see Screenshots).
Does someone know if something similar is possible in Catia?
Otherwise our users would enter the wrong (predetermined) values.
Thanks

Hello,
does somebody know how we could define Friction stir welding with the NX welding assistant?
It does not really add material but it still needs to be defined for drawing and simulation.
Best regards

Dear PhoeNX.
Thanks for the Info.
I will split the column.
This will be the easiest solution without additional attributes.

Hello I just create a new title block.
And I have a problem with a number attribute.
It always shows six digits after the comma.
If I use the same text outside of a table it just show the necessary digits.
I also tried the style settings of the table but that does not influence shown attributes...
Hello,
I need the below shown draft of a tilted cylinder in NX (also attached NX part).
And the draft only needs to be added where necessary (not on all sides).
Currently this is done with a few features which are not really intuitive.
If I show this to our users I always get some frowns.

Use examine geometry to find the gaps/openings in the sheet body.
You could also try to use the optimization command for smaller errors.
For larger openings patch opening is best.

Hello,
I worked at an OEM and they had a tool which suspended the Catia V5 session to save licenses.
All the parts (even not saved ones) where cached and the session could be restored by the push of a button.
Does anybody knows now if there is an commercially tool available to do this or if...

Hello,
you could also use the sensitivity study in NX.
We used it also for a cross section analysis and you can use the output in excel and also a graph.
Attached is an example I created based on your description.

Hello,

When the check is started there are usually many false errors which are not relevant for example bolts.
In Vismockup the status of the error can be switched to not relevant but I cannot find the...
Hello,
use the attached excel file to convert the polar into Cartesian coordinates.
Then export data from excel into a text file and change the extension into *.dat file and import into NX using File-->Import-->Points from File.
With this points you can create a spline using the Fit curve...
