    Thank you very much for your quick reply. So, from your comment, I can just apply the reduction to the individual walls that have aspect ratios between 2:1 & 3.5:1, and I don't have to apply it to those shear wall that have an aspect ratio less than 2:1 even if they occur within the same line...

I see in SDPWS 2008, that I apply a reduction of 2b/h to those shear walls that have aspect ratios between 2:1 and 3.5:1, but can I apply the reduction for just the shear walls that have aspect...
