    PVC labeling

Steve, The printable area of the PVC strip is 9" x 0.5" x 0.018" (Length x Width x Thickness). The strip is used as an activator "pull-strap" on a nozzle assembly. We recieve the nozzle/strap unit already assembled from our supplier in China so it makes using a standard TTP print head rather...

    PVC labeling

I have a thin strip of black PVC which needs to have a part Serial Number and Lot Number printed on both sides of the strip. Currently we have a one-sided thermal transfer labeller which works fine for the strip of rubberized fabric being used, but will not work for the black PVC. I was thinking...

    Plastics Bonding

Thanks PSE - - That is something that I hadn't considered and we already have another process which uses ultrasonic welding on the assembly line so the equipment and experience is already present.

    Plastics Bonding

I'm working on a process to quickly bond unreinforced PVC tubing with a natural LDPE fitting. Currently a clamp is used to hold the tube/nozzle assembly together. I'm looking at using some kind of food grade adhesive and maybe a press to bind the pieces together removing the clamp altogether...

water flow to air flow conversion

Fred, Thanks a lot for the input. I'm still in the initial design/set-up phase for the system and am grateful for the approximate air-water equivalence. When working calculations and running tests in lab at least I'll have a ballpark idea of if my numbers are on the right track. Kurt

water flow to air flow conversion

I have a unit which has 2 nozzles requiring .4 gallons/min water flow rate and has to be tested on an assembly line. I was considering implementing a system which utilizes compressed air instead of having to fill the unit with water to save time. However, I haven't found any reliable way of...
