So anybody had this issue with ST2?
I try importing a step file that I know is an assembly of parts.
I can not import it. No issues show just gives me a blank screen.
I go to import it as a .par tells me want to import it even though it is an assy proceed. I do this and i get my file I'm...

That is the answer we needed.
We had a different work around but that one is easier to keep up with especially since one of our co-workers does not seem to have a brain.

We figured out we can do it in the two piece parts files but how we make it in real life is as a assembly

Ok we are trying to figure something out.
We have two parts in an assembly.
With this assembly we actually do more work to it.
1. we drill and tap extra holes
2. we add fasteners and dowel pins
3. we add an o-ring groove on one end.
We have figured out how to do all of the above except #3...
