    We will probably not look into the "chemical blackening" because it would be too high risk for our main process. Its a good suggestion. Does anyone have any experience with fixtures and materials that go inside the heat treatment chamber?

    Compositepro, I don't think chemical blackening would work in a vacuum, because of out-gas contamination from the coating.
