When I modify almost any part in an assembly I get rebuild errors due to mirrored parts lossing references to faces.
The modification can be to a part in the main assembly or in a sub-assembly and the errors will show up in all assemblies with mirrored parts.

My experience has showed that with 2006 it does not matter what you mate to, planes, faces or other, a mirrored part in an assembly will cause rebuild errors if ANY part in the assembly is changed.

I had done a clean install with Anti-Virus turned off and left 2005 on my computer.
Tech help got back to me with some good help. Mirrored parts do not seem to work for me in 2006. Eliminating all mirrored parts has eliminated almost all rebuild/mate errors. However...
