NPT and BSPT are slightly different. 55 vs 60 degrees, rounded or flat or truncated tops, and very slight pitch differences. I do remember smaller ones at 11 TPI vs. 11-1/2 TPI for example.
They will screw into mismatched ports though.
Also Parker
Eaton Aeroquip Thread identification booklet is good.

BSPT is like NPT. tighten to anywhere, but use sealant to fight leaks.
BSPP I have limited experience, but the elbows I have used had jam...
I would also like to hear from someone who has actually used one. Have followed the magazine articles introducing it. It has real appeal to me if it actually works.
I think some of the negatives expressed above are carryover from the 'old rules of thumb' where a large reservoir did many...
Oops, posted to save the file then found out I can't edit to fix typos or continue.
I have little expereience with paint or epoxy coatings inside tanks. I know several products are recommended, but defer to others experience. My only personal experience was as a machine mechanic in a pickle...
We have used Union Carbide/Citgo 5046 Water glycol for ovr 20 years.
We have used sealed pressure/vac tanks with external KleenVent bladders to preven tloss of water in high heat conditions, and keep dust out. In our applications, the sealed tank is essential to making the fluid work well...
What is variable about the cylinder?
Do you want position control, or just the ability to remotely adjust a stop point occasionally, say changing product setup or something? Are there ways to mechanically adjust a stop point with screw actuator, then use a regular bang bang air cylinder against...
Also, pressure drop is a function of velocity, but the pressure drop and energy losses for a given velocity don't affect all circuits in the same way.
Pressure drop compared to total available pressure is a higher precentage of the original pressure.
5 psi drop in a suction line would be...
Thenathu:
Are the pump and motor far apart?
You can reference the same line with both the pump case drain and the motor case drain if possible. This removes some of the variations.
Or, if it is not possible to actually connect both drains to the same line, then use a flushing relief valve with...
Any one know whats up with (Sergei?)
Insane Hydr has been down since Nov of 2012, and no email responses.
Great site. Not so much on theory but real world mechanical experience and explaining controls.

Yes commonly done.
The motors must be linked mechanically on one shaft, or the lightest loaded motor will over speed its load while the heavily loaded motor stalls.
Putting two motors on one belt conveyor shaft, one each end, is common.
Two motors may be more total space, weight and dollars...
Trying to say that the lower absolute pressure rating for hst compared to open loop pump is not now a rating for the variable pump portion (variable piston, on and off stroke) but at the inlet of a constant flow fixed gerotor or gear pump. Without the acceleration and deceleration of fluid, the...
Is the lower allowable absolute pressure for the closed loop pump specified at the inlet to the piston sections, or more likely inlet to charge pump? Charge pumps are usually gear or gerotor steady flow and steady acceleration of fluid. Piston open loop sections has the 'gulp factor' of...
I know nothing at all about HD but have worked cable clutch mc a long time.
Is it glitchy and uneven, or just hard to hold after it has disengaged? If former, then cable housing friction or worn slight dips in the clutch basket, or sharp or uneven tab edges on the plates. Al;l of these cause...
Making the long LS line(s) a LOT smaller in diameter.
And try a stiffer construction multi wire or microbore gauge line maybe.
Cold viscosity may be an issue, but try some things as tests.
Both goals are to take out capacitance and lag in the feedback.
An accumulator in the LS line would add...
