    Thanks,for your advises,highly technical and full of experiences.The question arises because we leave a 3 inches stagger between seams and circumferencial weld and the owner is concerned/worried about this. The pipe is API5l x60 1.25 in. thick.any further comments??

    Is normal practice when welding piping with seams,not to weld two sections with veins in the same plane ?? veins have to be separated at least 30 degrees ?? thanks for your help.
