    The project is on the Middle east. I read on the IMC that it is not required if the window is openable otherwise you should design it by 10 ACH.

    The project is a hotel laundry. Our scheme is to feed by air handling unit.I think the most of the loads will come from fresh air from drier, press machines and washing machines. I saw many laundries that are poorly airconditioned due to a/c equipment sizing.

    As what I understand on the NEC 110.26(F)(1), the acu unit is prohibited to be installed above any electrical equiptment but does not prohibited to be installed within the room. Please clarify?

    The pump is located at the ground. The typical max. working pressure of the expansion tank is 150 psig considering the static pressure elevation which at 140 psig, is it safe to locate it on the ground with the pump.

    Joesteam pick up my question, normally city water pressure are common use but nowadays designer are installing permanent pressurisation pump because of non stable pressure of city water and to avoid possible mixing of chemical treated water to city water.

    Sorry If I dont make it clear, so pressurisation pump is one which makes filling and pressuring up the system. The AHU means Air Handling Unit - 1 no.

    I am involved once on the design and selection of chw/hw pressurization pump, I just used to calculate the flowrate by assuming that 1 AHU is under flushing condition. Is there any standard procedure to calculate the flowrate of pressurization pump?
