Is there any rules and regulation regarding the installation of air conditioning unit which feed by chilled water system? I am aware for possible water drip off and water leakage on the piping. If so is it applied also to tranformer room and low voltage room?
The pump is located at the ground. The typical max. working pressure of the expansion tank is 150 psig considering the static pressure elevation which at 140 psig, is it safe to locate it on the ground with the pump.
Joesteam pick up my question, normally city water pressure are common use but nowadays designer are installing permanent pressurisation pump because of non stable pressure of city water and to avoid possible mixing of chemical treated water to city water.
I am involved once on the design and selection of chw/hw pressurization pump, I just used to calculate the flowrate by assuming that 1 AHU is under flushing condition. Is there any standard procedure to calculate the flowrate of pressurization pump?
