    Difference Between ASME/ANSI B1.5 and FED-STD-H28/12

I've been searching for the differences between the 2 standards without any luck. Would anyone by chance happen to know what the key differences are between the 2 standards? They appear to be identical, but maybe I'm missing something... Thank you for any input you may offer!

Need Compressive Stress Equation Explained. Please Help!

Ok, so I have a shaft and a hub that is connected with a solid dowel pin in double shear. I need to calculate the compressive stress in the shaft and in the hub under a torque load. I've found an equation that I believe may be my answer, but can someone please break the equation down for me so...

    Need help with torque reactions!

Hi, I have 2 cylinders with a right hand tapped hole on each end. The 2 cylinders will be joined with a coupler. When operating, the rotation will be clockwise with a constant tension downwards. I believe right hand threads is correct because it will constantly tighten the three pieces...

Need help applying step draft to complex surface!

I already tried that. When I try to apply the draft an error comes up that just says "could not construct draft".

Need help applying step draft to complex surface!

I'm having a real huge issue with adding a step draft to the cylindrical portion of the part. The part requires a .5 deg. draft sloping in the direction of the arrows. Any suggestions on how to do this? Thanks! http://www.protomold.com/ProtoQuoteImage.aspx?PartIssueID=1080833&PqKey=2a59&l=0
