    question on manifold pipe

I have a question regarding manifold piping, I would like to know the how head and flow behave in branches of a manifold. It is a reverse osmose plant, fed with a 6" ANSI Sch40S pipe, with five branches, 2 1/2" each. Each branch feeds reverse osmose vessels. The total flow is 190 cubic meters...

    question on ABS piping

I am working on the upgrade of a water treatment plant, where piping is made in ABS. We have valves with spigots with an outer diameter of 73.1 mm, which corresponds to 2 1/2" ANSI pipe. Do you know of a supplier of fittings and adaptors for ABS piping in ANSI Standard? Regards

    question on pipe dimensions

In this plant it is no hazardous process involved. Fluid is water at ambient temperature. Regarding the flanges, we have BS type attached to DIN ones, and I have seen the same applies for EN 1092 and DIN for PN16. Both types have the same holes diameter. Which is the reference for that DIN...

Unfortunately I can not. I have no documentation available, only the "measure"

    question on pipe dimensions

I have to build an extension in a plant to an existing pipe, and I do not know which pipe standard it is. The outer diameter of the pipe is 154 millimeters, which do not correspond to the 6" standard ANSI or ISO pipe. It may be millimetric pipe, but the flanges welded to that pipe read "BS"...

On Galvanic corrosion between stainless steel and aluminium

It is not a marine environment. Anyway, it may be safer to put that component in Stainless Steel too. Thanks everybody!

On Galvanic corrosion between stainless steel and aluminium

I do not know which aluminium alloy it is. In principle, it should be a rather "normal" one. It is not coated. There will be no water flowing through those elements, only rain at the outside. One solution may be to put ceramic washers to avoid direct contact between the two metals. But maybe it...

On Galvanic corrosion between stainless steel and aluminium

I have a question regarding corrosion because of galvanic coupling. I am designing a plant where there is a water tank in Stainless steel 316 with a 6" flanged opening on the top. I am planning to mount an aluminium element on that flange. Thus there will be two flanges put together, one in SS...

    looking for flexible pipe connector

This is very interesting. But you say it is not available in the market. Is it because it was too expensive? Best Regards

Is there a norm for mounting lugs?

I can not open the website. When I click on it, a window appears with the title "XEPHR Error", and a list of error code. Regards,

Is there a norm for mounting lugs?

Hello, I am looking for a norm for mounting lugs. I mean mounting lugs with a cylindrical and a conical part, for centering, like that in the image below. I suppose there is a norm for those items, specifying geometrical parameters. Does anybody know of it? Regards
