Their library is created using standard SolidWorks parts with design tables.
It's the easiest to customize and does not depend on any add-ins or other interface gadgets to learn or troubleshoot.

The found the Cideon/SAP solution for vaulting SolidWorks data to be too expensive and lacking in capabilities.
They now vault their data in Enterprise PDM, and use the xPLM interface for Enterprise PDM to push and pull data between their CAD data and SAP.
