I have a 150 Hp 25 hz motor I would like to install a vfd on it to eliminate the MG set. My concern overheating/ overcurrent in the windings. Is it really an issue? will the speed setting to actual motor speed be say double if i set it up as a 50 Hz motor??
thanks in advance,Joe
It is serial comms and, I did get it talking and it looks to me I will be able to select the pattern by writing to the buffer location. The Kepware works really well, auto tags and all. I do realize i will need to build a GUI. Currently they are using another data Aq package that will talk to...
I am looking for anyone who has used the kepware opc software to select or program patterns in a UP750 controller?? I am thinking it will only allow me to select from preprogrammed patterns which would be fine. Any help would be great!! Sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum!!

I am working on a heat treat furnace and i need to know at what temperature rage does,Oxyegn, hydrogen and nitrogen start to get infused into the titanium?
We and the customer and I are not sure if we want to build and indirect fired or direct fired furnace. I have seen heat treating for...
THe rads are from a hot water system.
It looks like they were running with about 14 gals/mi. That is the flow rate of the grundfoss 15-42 pump that was on the old system.
I guess that would be a good starting point.
Taco makes a 3 speed pump I might go with to give me some flexablity.

Thanks everyone for your input.
Does anyone make a preheater for incoming air??
I expect you are talking of the intake air piping.
I could get a fin tube and run it inside the intake air pipe.Would this be good??
I would be happier to buy one from a supplier that has been making them for years...
I am going to replace a 40 yr old boiler with a new mod-con boiler. I will be heating with old cast iron radiators. I am going to zone the first and second floors and have a primary zone for the indirect water heater.
I am going to have pumps for each zone.
I am just not sure of the flow rates...
There are simple modules that will take one signal and has 2 outputs look up mighty module or API.

Would anyone know of a good collection of blocks for ladder drawings??

Gents,
I have equipment that I have designed that passes the uniformity standards of 2750C.
What are the changes in temp uniformity standards in 2750D?
I have a customer that is asking if my equipment will pass 2750D and i think it should be no problem because i was within the 2750C by...
One thing i have done is place the connector(any type tc) in a ziplock bag with a gob of silicone in it. then form the silicone around the connector. Leave sit for a few days. Then remove the bag.I have done this with many different mfg connectors. I have some that have been in direct weather...
I think there are positive displacement units out there that could that flow and pressure with very good accuracy. I would suggest getting a pulser output send it to a recorder and do the math in the recorder.
This is not cheap but i have done it before and have had good results.
