Getting K(Modulus of Subgrade Reaction) from CBR values(by CD225 eq2.4) for use in TR34 Calculation
I have a project where the SI gives a CBR value of 2.9%. I have seen that there is an approximation in CD225 stating: E = 17.6(CBR)^0.64 where: E is the estimated subgrade surface modulus(MPa)& CBR is the California bearing ratio (CBR) of the subgrade.
