I have just about the same system and I also see this problem. I keep my temp files cleaned out so I do not see this as the problem. I think this is a video card issue but have not had time to do any testing. I do not recall ever seeing this in SW05. Windows 2000 Professional Version 5.0.2195...

I use a shift select in the tree and then right mouse to show all. Make sure the last part is a hidden part. Jim

I have just rec. a new laptop(HP pavilion zv5340us).It has a AMD Athlon processor, 2.2GHz, 512MB RAM, 100GB. The video card is a GeForce4 440 64MB. The Operating System is Microsoft Windows XP Home service pack 2. What are my chances that this will run SolidWorks 2005 for moderate use. Jim

Joest, These settings change the display of chamfer dimensions added to the drawing with the chamfer dimension command. I do not believe that it will change the display of those that are imported into the drawing from you part. Jim

Uncheck View Sketch Relations.

Create the drawing and save as a .dwg. Open it cut and paste into new drawing. Then make this into a block so that you can position it. Complete the rest of your drawing.
