    Oscilloscope Connections.

    Thread pitch versus thread angle

    Is there a way to calculate the angle of the threads of a bolt? If so, is the calculation based on using the root of the threads or the crest of the threads, as they appear to have a different angle? Bolt depicted below has a one inch diameter with 6 threads per inch. Thanks.
