    Nice tooling. The reason is MRBs. Bushings installed from the wrong side. Rivets Mfg. head on the wrong side. The reason is a shop floor. Where I work we are a M&P Engineers, so I have to deal with all the shop floor mistakes. Regards, Jenia Ladkov

    I have started to use this method but there is one disadvantage. You cannot make an exploded view. All the fasteners/hardware are just geometrical representations. This can be perfect for product design engineering but not for manufacturing engineers. Regards, Jenia Ladkov

    Assembly level holes

    Assembly features are also will be active in part design. In such case in part design I use wire frame representation of holes geometry and I use annotations to describe what and at what stage to drill. You can also add dummy part at assembly level with holes geometry. Regards, Jenia Ladkov

    We use Cimatron for complex parts unfolding. I believe it's FTI. FTI has really nice tools inside Cimatron. Regarding drafting in Cimatron, well it's OK. I haven't worked with Cimatron for a while. You said you want to develop. Is it only design or also manufacturing? Regards, Jenia Ladkov
