Thank you all for your quick reply and information
Well, I can't give too much details, as no patent has been applied for yet.
This is as much I can give:
- intended to be a disposable product
- the bag should have a certain strength and flexibility, but must also easily be punctured (cannot...
Hello there!
I have a question and I found a similar question before, but not exactly answering my question. So, I'm hoping you guys can help me.
I want to glue a PE-bag to a PP surface. [I choose to use a PE-bag because it is more flexible than a PP-bag? (correct me if I'm wrong)]
I think it...
hmmm I purely want to measure distance during a laparoscopic surgery (CO2-gas in the abdominal area). So that is why I can't use 3-7 MHz, I really need to be in the kHz range.
so it is NOT ultrasonic imaging
Jay
Hi
the frequency that I want to use is around 40 kHz purely for distance measuring, so no harm to the human body,
Low power also only a small range max of 10 cm
so how big can this be? because I really want to come close about 5 mm or less in diameter.
but if I use piezo? can I use it inside...
to buzzp:
the sensor i want to use is actually for inside the body.
CO2-gas environment, and soft tissue
are capacitive or inductive prox sensors also suitable for that? and where can i find them.
to Efp:
I'm really trying to search for sensors smallers than 10 mm
low power
thx
jay
Hi,
I'm trying to find a company where I can buy
small low power ultrasonic transceivers (to use in distance measurement) small as in < 10 mm
- measurement of short distances
tried google, but can't find anything
Anybody can help me
Thx in advance
Jay
Hi
Does anybody know what kind of errors might occur if you use a ultrasonic distance measuring sensor inside the body?
Especially in laparoscopic surgery (CO2-gas)
Mainly does the tissue absorb the waves or something like that or directly reflect it when hitting the surface?
Hope someone...
Oh yeah, sorry for that
Well I want to sterilize a ultrasonic transponder, however I cannot find one which can withstand that temperature.
So I was wondering how to do this
Hope this helps?
Jay
Hmm sorry uh I know the steps,
but what I mean is how are the circuitry normally protected when they need to be sterilized? special material coating or something like that?
Jay
Thx Dave,
Yeah I've already contacted the hospital and they use 4 levels, cleaning by hand, ultrasonic, steam and ultraviolet
So the ultrasonic transponder must undergo these steps too.
