    you may have some luck with the atmel avr series they have ADCs and some have DACs which you could use to aid in your circuit

    I would highly recommend the Atmel AVR series. They are just as cheap as the programmer, flexible, exandable, etc.

    My two cents: A few years ago I *legally* modified my tail lights so that when applying my brakes the turn signals would illuminate as well. Additionally the turn signals use combine with the left or right brake light for more visibility. When braking the turning side assumes regular operation...
