The air dryer is after tanks.
I should check real good the possibility of cleaning it with brus, but zinc coating is very hard to do.
I'm planing to use this tank just for backup of other two tanks, and the air from it will mere the used air in smaller tanks, so the compressor will be less...
Yes, the air has direct impaci in some parts of the system.
Should the air filters from cleaning station and other filters installed in line be enogh to protect the system ?
If I should coated the tank, then there is a lot of work, because I have to find a company who will do that, and a truck...
I have a question.
We are using 2 tanks with medium capcity for air storing. Both are zinc plated inside to prevent corrosion.Untill 5 months ago, the capacity of our compressor was enough to satisfy our demands (Rallye 086 compressor).
Unfortunately capacity of production is going up, so the...
Well, she used it for 7 years, and I can see that there is a distorsion of material with error readings.
The only positive thing is that measuring the tablets (diameter, height) do not make any possibilty of destroying them (smashing, press deformation from metal jaws). I doubt this is the pro...
I supposed that there is no particular rule for them. I was in confrotation with one of my collegues because she says that she only works with fiber verniers. She got one, but it has been used for 7 years and has deformations on it (error of almost 0.3 mm, with not paralel jaws). Also, searching...
Does anybody knows is there any suggestion for what type of verniers to use in laboratories acording to GMP ?
I know that metal verniers are used everywhere but still do not know what are the suggestions of using them in pharmaceuticals.
These days I noticed that there are small amounts of oil drips in our main compressed air line.
As a newbie in my factory, I asked when it started to show up I got a answer that this is happening for almost 2-3 years from now.
Our facility needs clean air, with no oil adds in it. It consist of 2...
I should add heat from people who are working there and I think it is a good idea to do calculations with peak temperatures (during summer and winter). Yes, you should add a safety margin to final result and also a correction factor for the evaporator.
Yes, you are right.
There are various CAD programs, but any of them requires to pay for them (evaluation copies or similar).
I have DL some of them, but have to rechek them in my software collection data.
Here is one link, but I forgot is it free or it needs to be payed for it...
Does anybody have any template of inspection checklists for air screw compressors for maintenance phase (periodical inspection)?
Additional links to free templates are welcome.
Any help with this theme (periodical inspections checklists) is welcome.
Thanx
Does anybody knows where to download free HVAC symbols (in GIF, JPG or similar format). They must include symbols for heating and cooling coils, filters, etc.
I need them for doing a guide for training people in a maintenance department.
I've tried to find them on i-net but, everything i found...
Does anybody knows (Europe strictly), what type of inspection is needed for weldings made on a steam boiler after it's servicing-repairing?
For instance: a part of the pipes have been changed (82 pcs), and a part of steel plate from one side of the pipes (income side)i replaced with a new one...

Yes, You are right, I've made mistake in calcs about the output temp of air at coil exit. The real values are: 15C/97%RH or 19.3217 BTU/lb.
So the calcs are:
100% fresh air:
4.5*(47.1503-19.3217)*370.8=46434.802
90% recirc air:
4.5*(22.1977-19.3217)*529.72=6855.636
This means...
