Does anyone know the type of hand held earth fault tracing unit made by Merlin Gerin? I used one many years ago, you can trace 240V AC earth faults to their source etc.
The unit worked on a torroidal CT you clipped round the cable with the fault

I have a 500kva Tx 660/2300v
The delta primary winding is open cirucit due to a fault.
Could you advise what kind of resistance I would expect between L1, L2, L3 if one of the windings in the delta winding was open circuit?
What would the effect be on the remaining two healthy windings and...

I have just joined a new project and need some guidance.
I have 33kv AC 50hz 3 phase sub sea feeder supply cable 25km from shore base sub station feeding a common 33kv switchboard with no bus coupler on an oil rig.
