Plate or Box Tube for WPS Qualification.
There are 2 weldments a) Box Tube join to a Flat Plate such as Fig 4.29 of AWS D1.1 and b) Joining 2 Box Tube together such as Figure 4.8 I have a existing WPS that uses Plate for qualification test. Assumming that all thickness to be .25in and position to be 1G and 2G. Do I still need new WPS...- Illuminasa
