Determination of Centroids for ANSI Fittings
I would like to do a manual calculation for supports in a piping system and want to use the method outlined in the Piping Handbook. I need the position of the centroids for elbows, tees, flanges etc... for standard ANSI fittings. Does anyone know where i can find this information?- Hutamaki

PSV Sizing
TD2K, thanks for the response. I cannot download the file, is it perharps on the Anderson Greenwood website? If yes, what is the doc name? I am not very farmiliar with ASME BPV. If i choose an ASME rated PSV then i should use the AMSE derating factor of 0.9 correct. Where can i find the formula...- Hutamaki

ISO 4437 - HDPE for Natural Gas
Does any one know what specs european valve manufactures (PE100 or PE80) manufacture and test HDPE valves to? I cannot find any reference in ISO 4437. Can these valves (PE100) be used under the ASTM D2513 specs if they do not comly to ASME B16.40?- Hutamaki

Pressure rating of NPT Pipe Nipples
B1.20.1 has many drawings and descriptions. For my particular case "1" SCH 80 seamless nipple (threaded to ASME B1.20.1 NPT) made of A106 Gr B pipe " @ 20deg C - what would the pressure rating be from a B31.3 perspective. Can you show me what values you use and where to find it in B1.20.1?- Hutamaki

Pressure Rating of Extruded Headers
metengr, thanks for the quick response. So if i have a 6" SCH 40 A106 Gr B Piping. Using B31.8 (with location class 1) seamless pipe at 20degC i calculate a pressure rating for the pipeline of 176 barg. If i ordered a 6" SCH 40 A216 Gr WPB (same SMYS) then it would have the same rating i.e...- Hutamaki
