    Hi Jim Problem is with gears backlash cauign stpper motor resonace during high accuracy positioning.

    The gear is wearing cauing debris which is then causing stepper motor speed resonaces. I know that I can select many palstics, but just wondered if anyone had experince with UV hardcoating for gears

    Does anyone have experinece on the reasons for banding being created by tooth wear. Banding is horizontal lines during printing.
