I have attached a file where I have to design a control slot on a clylinder, where an other cylinder is guided. My problem is to design the perfect slot to drive the cylinder. Nx7.5 please have a look , other solutions , thanks. regards

I prefer Nvidia cards,too. I have seen some problems with ati cards, maybe history, but.... Problems we had with Nvidia are with the display of the letter F in the dialogs with the big/very expensive Fx 2800 and above. regards

Thank you , John and Frank, that are possible workarounds to solve this problem, I feel not very convident. I thought I missed any function or option in Nx. FYI, I found metaform can do it,too, but require extra license. I'll see if I can sell this to my colleagues. regards

How can I wrap a contour on a complex multicell surface. I know to use wrap and unwrap, but it works only on cyl. faces. thanks in advance

thanks, think about it, would be a cool enhancement on the geometry type filtering- like group selection/Up One Level

In hide and show (ctrl+w) I can use geometry type. For color selection I can inherit from an existing geometry the color I often use in combination with Crtl+A - fine. Now I'm trying so select for geometrie type, - there is no way to inherit geometrie type from an selected geometry ... like in...
