We have a plant down for major overhaul and have all the AB PLC's powered down. How long should the SLC-504 and PLC-5 RAM Batteries hold up considering they are about 1-year old?

If the bladder is ruptured the gauge will still read the "process pressure" correct? Thereby leaving the impression all is okay.
If it does rupture, the nitrogen charge will eventually "work its way out" as its absorbed...
Is there a way to determine the condition of a bladder in a Hydraulic Accumulator without taking it off-line? If not, how would you know if it were ruptured until the Accumulator is needed... and it's "not there"? Thanks
I have 5 / PLC5 approx 400ft from control-room where there is a single SLC. I want to add an HMI (1784-PKTX). Can all the DH+ be connected in the control-room in a "star" configuration without significant loss of data speed? Thanks
I have a compressor with a recycle valve between suction and dischg (700-950psi). When the unit goes on-line it must not take the dischg pressure up at greater than 40 psi/minute. The Gov control is another issue, but regarding the valve: what is the best way to control the rate? Simple...
