Railko WA82S? any ideas what this is?

They've finished for the day here, this grade is not listed on their website so wonder if anyone knows what it is? Thanks

    pump bearing problem

What is the bearing material and what is the lubricant for the bearing? is the lubricant the pumped fluid or a closed loop system separate lubricating fluid?

Bearing vendors are a nightmare sometimes

We sink or swim on our delivery times for ships bearings (plain composite) the company that often gets the order is the one that can deliver fastest. Ship is dry docked and stops earning money so the pressure is on to deliver! So in our business of bearings (plain bush/flat pad...

Grease lubrication on a babbitt bearing

I might be able to help as we work with some high load low speed bearings running grease (we supply a composite bearing material to replace white metal) I need dimensions, loads and speeds to give a full answer based on our experience with composites. Neil

Thrust bearing in titanium housing requirement

For Titanium we use a composite heavily (>50%) loaded with MoS2. There is only one make of this type of material Maritex. The MoS2 wil work well on Ti dry. You would need to give the expected pressure in Mpa or equivelant and speed.

    THRUST BEARING 21000lb

We've been working on mast bases out of Maritex composite, what is the duty cycle /speed of rotation? This might be a simpler option.

which can we use bushing for screw conveyors ?

Can you give more information? bearing size (shaft diameter and length) load on bearing, duty cycle or speed of rotation. Environment is the bearing protected from dust and abrasives. There may be alternatives to roller bearings.

    Bearing Material

I guess in this context you mean Kilo pounds or 1,200,000 pounds. Shaft diameter and speed of rotation is what we need to advise on bearing types as there are a range of materials we use. We have tested our bearings to 1,000,000Kg or 2,200,000 pounds for use in crane pulley blocks. Thes were...
