    Basically, anything that: - has high capillary transport rates - good absorption - resists hydrocarbons (gasoline) - lightweight - avaialble in fabrics/fibers/sheet form -cheap Those constitute the majority of my requirements.

    Agreed, more information would be appropriate. Paper towels are actually a great response - they meet the 2 criteria listed, but I need something that also resists hydrocarbons. Suneal
