cable chain meshing with sprocket
I have been working with a design for a vertical moving stage to focus a microscope target. It uses a stepper motor connected to a cable chain and sprocket driving a lead screw and a nut connected to the stage. Chain and sprockets have a 2:1 ratio and the lead screw has a 1mm pitch.
