Allen, thanks for this suggestion. This is the way I have been doing it, but it isn't very practical if you have more than a handful of files. I was looking for a utility / program that this exactly that, but automatically.

I have a various project directories I want to backup, many with shortcuts to PDF datasheets located on a different network drive. I want to backup the actual PDF file, not the shortcut LNK file.
