Ahh, Sheetmetal and it was not "in" sketcher but the dialog box.
Heh, hardly ever use extrude in sheetmetal mostly "Flat wall" creation.
That option still in the same extrude dialog box in Wildfire2
There is no "sharps to bends" in 2001 sketcher.
Do mean a "fillet" by picking -Sketch, -Fillet, - Circular?
Is this an english version installation?
What picks do you do in 2001 to access "sharps to bends" tool?
You can do that with a pause and a brief message to remind you what to select. then when running the mapkey the pause window pops up, select your [part and clcik resume in the pause window.
PTC likes changing the name to get more sales. "The new software is so different, it will be much easier to use"

If you want to actually "project" a point on to a curve. Project another cuvre across the other curve and make point at the intersection of the 2 curves.
If you can't make a complete enclosed solid, you maybe able to thicken it with a small thickness (watch your smallest radius, this will drive the amount you can thicken).
Sometimes to make solid and trying to merge all the surfaces to make it leak proof can be challenging. You may half to...
We use style for very complex surfacing. Typically we use the standard surfacing package (90%). Which there is plenty of info on.
Most typical standard surfacing is create your curve structure and use boundaries to attach to the curves.
Merge the surfaces
Thicken or solidify to make a solid...
If it is a complex cut such as compound angles on multiple sides. I would use surfacing to create the cut.
Create the individual surfaces of each side, then merge the surfaces, then use quilt to cut the solid.
FYI
We assign material files (on a network drive) to all our parts. Done with a mapkey when creating a new part.
When doing this, this also helps out the anaylsis guys.
To create material files we use matweb website.
http://www.matweb.com/index.asp?ckck=1
Still would be alot work though. :(...
We use a tree.cfg file
Go to the -Settings, -Tree Filters and make sure features are turned on. Save settings file to a location.
Use config.pro option
mdl_tree_cfg_file and browse to that location.
for 2001 part
mp_density=WEIGHT/mp_volume("")
Where "weight" is the the measured value
for 2001 asm
WEIGHT=MP_MASS("")
for WF2 part
REPLACE THE "#.##" WITH THE DESIRED WEIGHT.
alt_pro_mp_mass=#.##
mp_density=alt_pro_mp_mass/mp_volume("")
CHANGE THE 'Alternate Mass Properties'...
