Hi all,
I am wondering if it is possible to move a part of a sub assembly to the main assembly without having to basically start from scratch. For instance if a brass bushing was added in the sub assembly when it should have been assembled in the final assembly, is there a way to drag it into...
Is there a way to open a draft of an assembly by right-clicking or some other way instead of just going to open and finding the draft. For instance in SolidWorks if you right-click on a part or assembly it gives you the option to open the drawing from th menu.
thanks!
Hi all,
I am trying to get ST2 to add a dimension relative to a part, but it keeps going horizontal or vertical. Any ideas on how this could be done? I attached a sketch up of what I am trying to do and what how the dimension currently sits.
Thanks!

Is it possible to do a Broken Out Section View when the source view is an iso view? I have tried repeatedly and am having no luck. I brought in a new front view and it worked fine but will not work on an iso view on my computer. Am I doing something wrong or is this a limitation of ST2?
Thanks...
Ok, I figured it out. Apparently in my lack of experience with Solid Edge I created a simplified assembly. I uncheck the simplified assembly box and it came in. Thanks for your help, and sorry I am a big dummy. lol...
I deleted the custom property from the properties box but it still does not show the weight on the drawing. I double checked the drawing and it does have the correct formula. I am not sure what is going on with it.

I did a test with saving the assembly out as a parasolid and then imported it back into Solid Edge. I selected an assembly and then it created all of the parts as well as the assembly. is this the corect way to do it?
