In terms of time, the commute might be better than my current one in Southern California!
I'm just putting out some feelers to get more information on the power/utility engineering profession. I don't know how much of it is true, but an IEEE article that I read recently suggested that there...
I've been perusing the net for information on power electrical graduate programs and have identified various schools that offer an MS; however, I do not know how to judge the comparative quality of each program. I understand that these things tend to be subjective, but if anyone can provide any...
Greetings all,
I finished my BSEE from a competitive research school in California and I've been working in the aerospace industry for a bit over a year now. Long story short, I'd like to learn what roles and responsibilities other engineers have, and compare them to mine. My day-to-day tasks...
I've had good results with Burndy's Penetrox on lug-type connections, however, the problems I'm dealing with now are with pin & socket type connectors (i.e. circular, EPX, etc.) I need a product that will slow the effects of fretting, oxidative and/or galvanic corrosion in tin/gold interfaces...
Anyone have any experience with MIL-L-87177 corrosion inhibiting compound for electrical interconnects? What about urea-thickened PFPE? Just wondering if there are any experts on corrosion inhibition for electrical interconnects(namely, fretting and galvanic).
